Man Down | Alicia Portillo Vazquez

'Man Down' is a photography series by Fashion Communication graduate Alicia Portillo Vazquez, created for her honours project which looks to explore perspectives of masculinity in Mediterranean culture.

Created over a summer, with a desire to challenge older generation's traditional influence on masculinity in the region, Alicia wanted the project to reflect that there is no binary way to be a man or masculine and that expression can be showcased in many ways.
